Compelling Event?
COMPELLING is defined as “evoking interest, attention, or admiration in a powerfully irresistible way” EVENT is defined as “a thing that happens, especially one of importance”
I think we could all arguably agree we don’t normally do anything without a reason. Defining the compelling event in the non-believer is a necessary skill of the evangelist.
We will reach to first "The believer and active Christian" These individuals are active in their faith attend service, regularly ,participate in regular devotion, prayer and service. They are doers of the word, not just hearers. These are the "ready disciples." We will encourage them to participate and learn evangelism techniques for reaching the post Cristian era culture. We will work to embrace the Great Commission
Second, we will join together and focus on Christians that have stepped away from their faith and encourage them with "our renewed interest in the Great Commission" and "new knowledge" of how to reach them, encouraging them to reconsider, renew their faith and come back to Christ.
Third, we will work together to evangelize in the communities to reach the non-believe. The is is where we need moderate communication, developing relationships and being an example of Christ. We will communicate and create the compelling event for them to consider.
